"I must say these are the best running socks I have ever owned. I could not believe how the are padded and compressed in all the right spots. First time I put them on I went out and ran a 2 hour half marathon. Which is GREAT for me. Thanks Nike. I am going to get a few more pairs."

"I've been training for a marathon and I purchased these socks and the Air Vomaro 3 shoes. Together, they are great! The Thirlos socks that I usually wear are just too thick for those shoes. I'll certainly buy another pair of these socks."

Best sock for arch support
, June 7, 2008
By DCRCW
from Denver, CO
"As a heavier (200 lbs) runner with high arches, I developed plantar fasciitis with increased running distance. In combination with orthotics, I have found that these socks are by far the best in terms of cushioned running support and have helped make all the difference in terms of arch pain and recovery. I prefer the quarters over the lower cut versions as there has been some shrink post washing but all versions have been very helpful to me. Wish the price was a bit cheaper but it's worth it for me."

too tight
, June 4, 2008
By ronv1

"I wear a size 11 1/2 sneaker and I found these socks to be way too tight. The quality is excellent and I think if Nike made them in different sizes this would be q winner. The "one size fits all" just doesn't sem to be a good idea when it comes to footwear."

Mixed feelings about these socks
, May 21, 2008
By Gabe23
from Raleigh, NC
"I tried these based on my great experiences with the Elite Running socks. These are a bit tighter (I wear a size 11 Nike running shoe) and feel quite padded and supportive when I put them on. I did a short run first with no issues, but the second time out, I wore these for a long run and had them on for probably 2 1/2 hours. Things felt great, but when I took them off I had some pain in the outside of my right foot. These are very tight around the midfoot, and had irritated me right where the orange spot is on the outside (as seen in the picture). It seemed to just be tenderness in the soft tissue, and after some icing, the pain was gone the next day. So from now on, I'll only be wearing these socks for short runs and speed work.
One thing to note is that my feet are flat and wide, so that could have contributed to the discomfort. In all, these are good socks. But for me personally, I'll be sticking with the Nike Elite Running."

Too tight
, May 21, 2008
By La Brea
from Palomar Park, CA
"Almost like an elastic bandage and they do feel "supportive" . This is a good sock, but you are getting too many bells and whistles that do nothing. Dri-fit is great and I have worn in 95+ degree runs with only minute dampness!"
