"This shoe is horrible. Ordered it online and thought that after a few days of "breaking it in" it would get better. I should have trusted my instinct. These shoes hurt. I will use them for elliptical and other short workouts but they are a no go for running. Would like to have the Vomero 6 shoe back but the Vomero 7's have also been changed. Nike, stop messing with the comfort/form of shoes. It doesn't always improve them."

"I don't understand the negative comments on this shoe! I bought these at a Nike outlet store and I was honestly skeptical. I have always gone to a special running store to get fitted for a good, but pricey pair of running shoes for the year. The guy at the store convinced me that they have great cushioning and stability, and said if I wasn't satisfied I could return them. They turned out to be very comfortable, and I even ran a half marathon with no foot/arch pain afterwards. I will for sure purchase these shoes again once my pair wears out."

"I am a loyal customer of Nike Sneakers, they are the only sneakers I have ever worn. When I first wore these sneakers they were comfortable. After about a week the left sneaker was horrible. It is killing the ball of my foot. They no longer have any support. Unfortunately they are the only pair I have so I'm still wearing them & having extreme pain in my left foot when I take them off.
I am very disappointed in these NIKE'S SNEAKERS.

"This is the state of the shoe less than 6 weeks of use---only walking .Deeply disappointed with Nike for this poor quality. Please don't part with your hard earned money for this shoe. The top of the shoe developed holes while the soles are in great shape...can't wear them.Deeply disappointed with my purchase."

Have owned many pair of Nike Motos, probably around two dozen pairs. I have never seen anything like this before. That is, the top of the shoe wearing out like shownb in your picuture. As a runner, the only thing that wears out for me is the bottoms, but I do run on asphalt.
This is a very strange wear pattern indeed. Has this ever happened to you with other sneakers? If not, probably best to return them to Nike for their inspection for a defective product. The only other thing I can think of is a dog nibbling at your sneakers.....

Great shoes
onAug 4, 2012
I have like "Mad" owned many Moto AirMax shoes. I do extreme "bootcamp" type training in them and have never had a problem. I just wear them out, but it takes quite a while to do so. I run/cross train in them as well, and I only change out when the soles become worn or the insoles lose their cushioning from the amount of high impact training I do. Hope this helps!

I have had 4 pair of the Air Moto+ running shoes. I have no not had any problems with the quality. Many running miles, along with other cardio workouts and I have had no issues with holes developing in these shoes. This is a great pair of shoes!
