"I've been running in these shoes for a week now and have tallied around the mid 20s for miles ran. They're incredibly comfortable, amazingly light and take to all surfaces pretty well. They are, of course, less cushioned than a lot of trainers though so it would be important to consider the surface you run on initially if you're new to running - try running on softer ground while you adapt.
On the whole i love them, they breath fantastically, are very comfortable and light...feels like you're running in socks but with the added comfort and protection of trainers.
P.S. I selected that i wear size7 but only because there was no option above that. I wear a 9 which is the size i wear in almost all trainers...i'd say they're a pretty regular fit."

"I was using the nike shox running shoes prior to this and I had pretty severe shin splints. I was told by a friend to try these shoes. I have been running pain free for about a month now. It is night and day how I feel. It is nice to run pain free in my feet and legs!"

"I was at first skeptical of this shoe being so felxible, because I had previously had problems with overextending my fascia but so far I am very pleased with this shoe. From the moment I tried it on I was very impressed. Really enjoy the sock like fit and how light it is. Minor pains on the inside of my ankle, but after some strengthening I'm sure they will be my favorite shoe. I previously had the nike triax 10 and really like those, and had the lunarglides. These Frees are now my favorite. GREAT SHOE."

"This is my second pair of the Free Run+. I love the color combo for this version of the Livestrong, it's a nice change of pace from the typical black and yellow. I'm a 10.5 and they fit great. they fill a little stiffer than my last pair of Free Runs, however, not to the point of discomfort. They also seem to have a little less cushioning than my last pair, but again, not to the point of discomfort. Longer runs in these Free's (10+ miles) have been giving my knees some problems, unlike my last pair of Free's. But, they're great under 10 miles."

make a new shoe

"nike, the free run shoe is not affective for running barefoot, it has a big heel that absorbs impact and allows you to run on it. when barefoot running, you do not use your heel, it hurts, you run on the ball of your foot in a rolling motion. please make a better shoe"

"This is a great shoe and I couldn't wait to buy it since I saw it online. It looks great with anything and I love running with these. I just wish they would make a LIVESTRONG edition of this shoe that was like the gray ones except instead of gray mesh, I would like to see black mesh on this shoe. I strongly think that this would only boost the already huge sales of this model."

"I have been running with recommended running shoes from the supposed to be experts in running stores and have had pain in my legs (knees, ankles, etc). A runner friend of mine told me to try the Nike Free Runs and let them know what I think? I just bought my Nike Free Runs on Wednesday. I took them out of the box, put them on, and ran 3.1 miles. Unbelievable! Awesome run and no pain whatsoever! Then last night I ran 7.4 miles and same thing! No pain and what an incredible run! I will only buy these shoes from now on! I would recommend these to anyone and if you are having any problems with you legs, GET THESE!! I promise you will love them! Thanks Nike and of course to my friend that recommended these!
I did have to go a half size up like everyone says. The width was fine for me. Comfort is incredible! I can't comment on the durability yet. They only have 10.5 miles on them.. :)"

"AWESOME running shoes! Started having problems with my knees and back in my Nike Free 5.0, they were getting old and probably had over 1000 miles on them. I had originally bought the 5.0 due to back and knee pain, it all disappeared after about a week in those, now that I have the Free Run +, it took me about 2 weeks to get over my issues, but these shoes never fail in relieving any pain issues I have. Highly recommend and will be buying a new pair under 500 miles this time!!!"

"right after i bought these i noticed how comfortable they were when i was just waking around in them. then at my wrestling practice (i wrestle for my high schol team) we were doing some cardio conditioning, which meant 7-8 miles around the track. thse shoes then blew my mind. i felt like i was running barefoot, only without the road rash that you get when you actually run around without shoes. also, i purchased some yellowish-gold laces for these and replaced the black ones and they look FANTASTIC. i have no comlaints whatsoever for these shoes and i would recommend these to anybody, even if they dont run often."

"These shoes are so awesome. I walk barefoot everywhere I can and when I have to wear shoes, these are the closest thing to walking barefoot. For several months before I got these shoes I was walking around with pain in my heel like I was stepping on a stone taped to my heel. Within days of wearing these shoes the pain is almost gone. Partnered up with Nike + sensor and my iPhone it is the ultimate training tool. The shoes runs a little narrow. I wish I could get these in a wider size. About the durability I have not owned them long enough to say. I like the way the Free feels so much I went and bought the Nike Free 7.0 to try out."
