"This was a very comfortable shoe. I'm a overpronater and have medium arches. The fit was great and they were very supportive. My only complait was the shoe only lasted about 350 miles before the cushion started to noticeably wear down."

"I went down from Equalon to the Structure hoping I could save money and still get a somewhat equal ride as the Equalon. This shoe is probably the worst Nike I've ever used. First, the shoe runs small - or at least the one shipped to me. Second, the shoe rides very hard and tight -- with little cushion. The insoles are harder than the Equalon's and the midsole is tight not allowing for a smooth roll during pronation. I get cramps on my toes from the tight ride and have developed some callous on my toes. Its not worth the savings - Equalon is by far the best of Nike's line up -- even better than the dynamic support that recently came out. The shoe fits nicely - contours to the feet - except that it runs small."

"It took me 4 tries to find the right shoe for me but found the Air Structure Triax 10 years ago and they have been great over hundreds of miles. Looking at the wear pattern on the bottom I can see how I land on the corners and pronate in quite a bit, and this model handles that where the others apparently tried to control too much and didn't let the foot roll naturally and led to problems with soreness in one of my knees.
Anyway, since I found these 10 years ago I've had 6 pair of Air Structure Triax and now after running 50 miles in the Zoom Structure Triax 13 they feel just as great as the others."

"Fantastic first ride!! The support offered was a little wierd at first, but then I realized, I had just never had a purpose runnning shoe that was suppoortive in the key areas that I needed. This shoe is not for everyone, but if you are like me and usually buy cross trainers, this is the best sole purpose running shoe i have bought to date!!"

"I have been wearing the Structure for a few years now since a fitting at a marathon expo. I believe it was the 11. i really like the 12. the 13 was not impressive out of the box, however I believe the lack of flash is better for the environment. The arch felt like it was moved forward and could have been a hot spot, but that feeling disappeared in the first run. the shoe felt a little less cushioned than the previous version.
The good news is though, the heel cup and restraint has been greatly improved without gauging the achilles. my heel sticks in well, and my socks stay up. No hot spots from the lacing either.
The tread has more open space, and has picked up a few stones along the run, just a little annoying really. All in all, still a good shoe if you need support or are a big runner like me.

"I ran a half marathon in this shoe. They were very comfortable and didn't give me any problems.
After running more and more in this same shoe, I started developing shin splints. It was no bid deal since it was only a mild pain. Overall, I would recommend it."

"I bought this shoe with high expectations and they deliver. Let me start by saying that I am a terrible runner. I could barely run 1.5 miles for the last 10 years. I never really used Nike too much because I have a low arched foot and Nike always seemed too high for me. These shoes fit great, they are comfortable, light, stable and they breathe. The Nike+ is a bonus also if you want that. I've found they are better for running than training shoes however. Like I said I could barely run 1.5 miles before. I ran 4 times in these things and then completed my first 5K. I had never ran that far before. They just make running easier."

My 1st Real Running Shoe

"These are my first "real" running shoes, and after my first 6 runs (about 40 miles), I'm really enjoying them. I'm an over-pronator, and I have a history of related injuries, including knee and lower-back pain. These shoes provide a wonderful balance of stability and light-weight cushioning and it's eliminated a lot of the post-workout pain that I usually had. My recovery time between runs has dropped from 2-3 days to 1 day, and my 1, 2 and 5 mile times have improved significantly because of the elimiation of foot pain.
While I can't speak to the durability of the shoes, they feel well-made. I've taken them for runs on all surfaces - trail, road, track and treadmill - and the shoes have performed well on each (although especially well on road and track). The shoes also breathe exceptionally well (my feet sweat a lot), especially if you combine the shoes with running-specific socks.
Finally, I'm recovering from a ruptured Achillies tendon, and these shoes provide a decent amount of heel support and cushion. However, some runners recovering from a similar injury may find the heel a bit stiff, so you may opt for something with a little more cushioning if your average runs exceed 8-10 miles."

"i had a gait test to remedy over pronation which was causing knee and thigh stresses. this shoe rectified it and i have so far done 10miles in one week without the slightest twinge...great support in heel adn soooo comfy the best bit is that the area covering your toes lets fresh air in and soothes those toes especially nice after 45mins......worth the investment"

"There isn't too much of a difference between this and the triax 12. The only thing I noticed was improved heel cushioning and a better crashpad. Also there is structural support on the insides of both shoes with the foot bridge near the heel and and also a nike zoom unit in the forefoot that provides good balance. Take notice that the tongue of the shoe is white like the triax 12's not grey as pictured. Also the 2 black straps seen right behind the swoosh near the heel are grey in real life as well. Good support shoe overall, can't wait to see what nike does with this design going forward!"
