"I love these shorts so much. I have 5 pairs now, all in cute colors. I tried the Tempo shorts on at a store since they are so popular, but the cut is totally unflattering. They seem to poof out in the front crotch area making me look fat. The Pacers are great. I love them. The cut is actually slimming in the hip area. I've run a marathon in these shorts and I will say after about 18 miles I get a little chaffing on my lower back from the waistband. A little BodyGlide works great to prevent it. BEST SHORTS EVER. Nike please never stop making these!"

"I have worn the Tempo for a few years and thought I loved them...until I tried the Pacer. Over time it seems like the Tempo has gotten so baggy that it's almost like wearing a skort. Not attractive. I've worn my new Pacers four times since buying them one week ago and am addicted. The waist band sits lower and is wider so no muffin top (if you're prone to that), the legs are big enough, but not too big for my non-skinny thighs without chaffing or riding up and they stay in place with no fidgeting. I've done a mud run with pits and walls and run a 12 miler in them so far and no problems.
The only drawback is that the inside pockets for keys/Gu don't seal so I get nervous I'll lose my key.
I've seen people comment on how the sizes run and they seem to run a little big to me. I have medium Tempos and had to get small in the Pacer."

"I ordered several pair of these (in different colors) & returned every one of them. Too short & too tight around my thighs...will be so happy when companies make comfortable,FLATTERING shorts for real women with hips, butts & thighs?!?!? I'm short (5'2") with large, muscular legs....the PACER shorts hit @ the biggest part of my leg & were tight....made for a VERY unflattering fit.....LOVE all other Nike products (i.e. shoes, shirts, capris) but won't be buying any more shorts from them :("

"I LOVE these shorts! I wear them to the gym to lift weights, to dog agilty trials to run my dogs and on trail runs. They are the perfect length, flattering and not too short or not too long. I have tried to wear the Tempo, but it makes my butt look huge and saggy (which it is not!). These shorts are a definite upgrade to the Tempo! I will be buying them in every color! They do run a little smaller than some other Nike products. I go between a small and XS. The XS was really tight so I purchased the small (5'7" and 115lbs)."

"These shorts are amazing! They are a good length, not too long not too short. So I feel comfortable wearing them in front of anyone. They are great for running in or working out in the gym. I couldn't have got a better pair of shorts. WIll definetly get more!"

"I much prefer the fit of these over the tempo. The tempo shorts always looked dumpy on me. These are definitely cute, but had to go up a size since they run small. I usually fit size 4/6 in stores but had to go with medium because the small was a little too tight and uncomfortable."

"I love how the shorts feel, very airy and comfortable and like that it sits low on the waist. I did notice it rides up when running though, but then again, i don't think any manufacturer can come up with one that doesn't."

"The back pocket is surprisingly comfortable with an iPod player in it, however it is nearly impossible to get the player in and out while running. This makes it difficult to view the player while running, skip a song, etc.
The leg pocket of the previous Nike + shorts was perfect!! Please make this style again!"

"These are a lot like the Tempos, but with a bit of a lower rise, which I like. They are very, very comfortable and everything stays in place well during a run. The Nike logo on the front of these is just a sticker and came off after I just washed the shorts once, but other than that these seem to be holding up well. They are a little more flattering than Tempos, I think."

"I really like the pacer running shorts. They don't ride up and they work great for many types of workouts -- anywhere from kickboxing to a 10 mile run. I like them better than the tempos -- they're a little shorter."

"These shorts have the benefits of the tempo short but with a much more flattering fit. They are a tighter fit. They are the perfect length and rise. They are also super comfortable and I have worn them for many long runs and one of my marathons and no chaffing. These are my favorite everyday running short."
