I Refuse to Wear Another Shoe, July 1, 2008

"This is the greatest running shoe ever. This is my 4th pair. My friends are equally addicted now that we've discovered them. The vented heel is great for Florida weather; the lightweight mesh body and flexible footbed is great for packing in an all-too-full suitcase. I hate to admit it, but I have them in 3 colors to complement running or fitness ensembles. These shoes are great after having been through the washing machine and have never smelled funky, despite the lack of socks. I love these shoes!"

"I just bought these in pink and love them. I have problems with numbness in the forefoot, and I do not get that with these shoes. They have fantastic energy return - I actually feel like I'm being propelled forward. I am not a fast runner, and I am much faster just from these shoes!

Please, Nike, don't discontinue these! Especially the bright green/blue ones, which I could not find in my size and settled for pink."

"These are great shoes. I always fear that Nike will discontinue a show when I find one I like (because it always happens!) so I bought 3 pairs!

they are narrow, which is good for me. Super light, even after a 20 mile runs, no blisters or anything. If only they could make the upper of this shoe with the sole of the Luna, now THAT would be great!"

"I have this shoe and love it. Ordered it again b/c I do love it and got it in another color. The shoe appears stiff, alot stiffer than the other one I have. I am not sure if it will loosen up. The stiffness occures at the back of the shoe, top where it meets the ankle, and then around the side on both sides. I do not remember the other shoe being stiff at all, but I have had it awhile."

"I can hardly believe it - but this shoe works exactly as they say it does. No socks, no blisters, no problems with sizing, it's great... I wear it for indoor group ex classes and short outdoor runs and love it."

"I have these trainers after many Nike models and these fit like a glove, so lightweight and comfortable. I have others in other brands 3 times the price and do not come close to this shoe. I love them and will be buying other colours! i HAVE RAN HALF MARATHONS AND MANY 10K RUNS IN THESE.. ;0)"

"I love these. I purchased a pair at the store and wore them for a sprint tri...easy slip on and wonderful to wear without socks. I loved them so much I purchased two more pairs and I am looking to purchase more before they run out. Perfect fit for me is a 6.5 and I wear anywhere between a size 6 to 7. Great shoe for the price and they seem to last. I use these for everyday sports wear also and the white is difficult for me to keep clean."

"I have two pairs and am likely going to order more. I've long been a fan of running without socks- you wouldn't want to be anywhere near my other running shoes! This shoe is so comfortable and well ventilated and ideal for those who do not like wearing socks while running. They're super lightweight and I love the pull tab lace locks- you never have to worry about your laces becoming untied! These are fantastic!"

"I have owned many pairs of Nike's and this by far is the best pair yet. My last pair of Shox were never this comfortable right out of the box. I love the little pocket for my ipod sensor. I am very happy that Nike and Ipod have teamed up to give us such a great workout tool!"

"I was rather disapointed with this shoe. It was not comfortable at all. especially while running. I wore it to work for a few days hoping I just needed to break them in, but didnt help."

"I can only speak well of two running shoes... One is the Nike Free 5 and the other is the Nike Zoom Hot Shot+. These two shoes meet the needs of the daily runner. They provide comfort while being extremely lightweight. I strongly recommend this shoe to anyone who enjoys a good run and cares about the comfort of their feet!"

"when i got the shoes i thought they would probably hurt my feet to run in them without socks on but straight from the box to the treadmill for 30 min and no rubbing anywhere. when running outside you can feel when the wind blows. i love my shoes. i have also ordered them in black and also ordered my daughter a pair which she also loves."

"I'm 35. I had my 1st bunion surgery at 23. Seriously. My feet are horrible. I LOVE these shoes. They are sturdy, supportive, have plenty of cushion and are light weight. I like the feeling of air on my toes when I'm running. Great summer shoe. The toggle closure is handy, wish there was more length in the line. Ipod compatibility was my deciding purchase factor."

"I love these shoes they are light weight and cool for hot days. Nike made the laces a bit too short now. My other pair are older and have longer laces. The short laces make it harder to slip these on. Great for walking and wearing after a work out."

"I walked for the AVON BREAST CANCER WALK 40 Miles
these shoes were awesome. I did not have 1 blister or boil
after the first marathon was over I took off my shoes and socks and my feet weren't even wet. The breathability this shoe gives you is unbelievable. I am going out and getting 2 more pairs so I have them in stock for next year! These will not work for wet weather conditions of course.I recommend these to everyone ."
