"The Zoom Katana is a fantastic speed trainer for short tempo runs and/or speed workouts on the track... for the first few sessions. The blue dots that look as if they were made for traction wear down very quickly regardless of where you use these shoes. The air zoom technology makes this shoe extremely light wieght and very responsive. The cage provides more support for the longer speed training sessions and gives the runner the option to use this shoe off the track. I would not recomend using the katana for anything other then speed work sessions or road races."
