A Nike+ pocket under the sockliner provides a secure place for the Apple iPod#8482; sensor, which is virtually unbreakable. Breathable mesh upper with supportive overlays Zoom Air unit in heel and forefoot with a full Nike Cushlon midsole for a supremely cushioned, responsive ride Natural Motion Engineered flex grooves EVA strobel outsole with Duralon in the forefoot and BRS 1000 in the heel for the ultimate fit, feel, and durability

"My first running shoes I ever purchased was the original air vomero. They ran well for 150 mi. my first year. So I opted to stay with what worked for me and get the air vomero 2 and I have not been dissapointed! The nike+ system will change the way you run and focus you even more then before. That alone makes it worth it. But with this shoe they did widen the toe box which took a little getting used to and so at first I felt they ran larger then normal. But after a week I was used to the breathing room for my feet and began to love the change. I think the cushoning for this shoe is the best ever and ideal for any runner, especially heavy or beginning runners. Best shoe EVER!!"

"I'm on my fourth pair of Vomeros, two from the first version and two from this. Being 6ft and 185 this is by far the best shoe, knee pain and any other (pains) gone. I ran 17 marathons and I even used my Vomeros for race not only training. Cushion is by far the most of any shoe and. Highly recommend them."

"This is the first technical running shoe I've ever bought. Prior to this shoe, I've been running in "designer" type running shoes. Typically they're either under cushioned or too stiff, and sometimes a bit heavy (at least for my taste). The Vomero's are a total 180 of the aforementioned shoes. They're VERY light, and the cushioning is unbelievablely cloud-like. Great upgrade for any level of runner. I'm a treadmill runner, by the way, and so I'd imagine they'd be just as excellent on hard concrete/asphault and grass/turf surfaces."

"I bought these shoes to train for my first marathon. I usually do not purchase Nike as the toe box has been too narrow. These are perfect in the toe box. In addition, the shoes have superb cushioning and support. I run in these everyday and my feet almost never pay the price at the end of the run!1"

"I have 3 pairs of Vomeros ,2Vomeros and a Vomero +2.
I also have the flattest feet in my family,but using the Vomero makes me feel like I can go any distance.I have tried almost any other running shoes.

"These are some of the best shoes I have ever used to run. I bought a half a size big as advised by running coach and they were perfect. Cushioning, stability, quality of design and styling add up to a great shoe. Put almost 500 miles in on first pair. It is the first time I have spent over a hundred bucks on running shoes and felt it was worth it."

"I had to make these on i.d. but they are worth the money.
Great cushion throuhout entire shoe,very light weight,very reponsive more durible than the vomero 1 even though the 1st version is by far the best looking version ,come on Nike bring it back on nike i.d. in wide width!"
