"i love nubuck over leather any day. the leather material bends and you don't have to worry about that with this version of the retro 12's. These are very durable for those of you just purchasing them. I got mines in Febuary and they still look fresh and I wore them a good bit."

"I LOVE THESE! I dont get why everybody is bagging on them compared to the originals.. I actually prefer the Nubuck much more than the leather because I dont have to worry about creasing. I also love the smiley graphic on the shoe with the white tongue stictching. KEEP IT UP THE GOOD WORK JB!
Im holding off on the durability for now since I just recently got them, but Nubuck in my own experiences is ussualy a very durable material. Be back with an update in weeks."

"I see alot of people talk about the quality of the retro 12 vs the original. I had the originals, the 2003 retros and I have the current retros. These to me are the best yet. The originals were very heavy and hot, they were almost like a boot. The 2003s were nice, but many had flaws as it is an elaborate shoe. The most recent ones, from my experience are very nice. Good fit, stitching is right, shoe is a little lighter and breaths much better. Nike was spot on to me on this set of retro 12s."

"The white and red 12 stay true to the original 12s. The leather is great on it they look great and they pop. The white and red 12 all the red on it matches 100%. The black and red flu games the bottom red of the shoe is a little darker. And its nubuck not leather the sun rise all white is really nice great leather on it. I hope they come out it navy blue and white and the low cut ones to and they need to come out with the red and white 12 to"
